Some of our strongest client relationships have begun with an introduction from someone who already understands the way we work. If you know a person or family considering a custom home, a substantial renovation or an addition, we would value the introduction — and we treat every one with care.
Our work is built on trust and personal relationships. A custom home or substantial renovation is a long, close working partnership, and the best outcomes come when client and builder are genuinely aligned — on expectations, on standard of work and on the way a project should be run.
An introduction from someone who knows us shortens that distance. It usually means the conversation begins with shared expectations, and it is one of the reasons so much of our work continues to come from the people we have already built for.
Share your details and the details of the person you are referring — with their permission — using the form below, or by contacting us directly at hello@apdh.com.au. Referrals should reach us before the person you are introducing first contacts AP Designer Homes.
We consider the project type, its stage, the likely investment and whether it is aligned with the kind of work we undertake. We then contact the person you have referred directly and treat the conversation with the same care as any first enquiry.
A referral qualifies under the programme once the person you have introduced signs a building contract with AP Designer Homes and the project reaches its construction commencement milestone, in accordance with the referral terms on this page.
Once a referral qualifies, both you and the person you referred are recognised under the programme — transparently, and in accordance with the terms set out below.
The programme is open to past and current clients, architects and building designers, consultants, suppliers and trades, and friends of AP Designer Homes — anyone over 18 who knows our work well enough to recommend it.
AP Designer Homes staff and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive the referral reward.
The projects best suited to an introduction are the ones best suited to us: custom homes, substantial renovations, architectural additions and heritage or character-home projects — clients seeking a personally led building process, with realistic investment expectations, where architecture, detail and quality matter.
Under the programme terms, the referral reward applies to projects that proceed to a building contract with a value of $500,000 or more. Not every introduction will be the right fit, and we will always say so honestly — but every introduction is appreciated and treated with care.
A qualifying referral is recognised on both sides of the introduction:
A referral qualifies when the person you introduce signs a building contract with AP Designer Homes for a new custom home, major renovation or large-scale addition with a minimum contract value of $500,000, and the referral was received before their first contact with us. One reward applies per contracted project — where more than one person refers the same client, the first valid referral received applies. There is no cap on the number of referrals you can make.

Effective May 2025. These terms apply to the AP Designer Homes Referral Programme. By submitting a referral, you agree to the following.
Referrers can be clients, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, or members of the public. AP Designer Homes staff and immediate family members are excluded from receiving the referral reward. The referrer must be over 18 years of age.
All referrals must be submitted via the official referral form on this website or emailed directly to our office before the referred party makes initial contact with AP Designer Homes. If the referred contact is already in our database or has previously been in touch, the referral will not be valid.
A successful referral is defined as a referred person or party who signs a building contract with AP Designer Homes for a new custom home build, major renovation, or large-scale addition. Both the referrer and the referred client will receive a reward of $3,000 each: the referrer will receive $3,000 by EFT once the referred client’s construction project has commenced (typically defined as pouring of the slab or similar agreed milestone), and the referred client will receive a $3,000 credit applied to their building contract.
One reward applies per contracted project — if multiple people refer the same client, the first valid referral received will apply. There is no cap on the number of referrals you can make, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Referrals must lead to a minimum contract value of $500,000 to qualify for the reward.
Reward payment to the referrer will be made within 14 days of the build’s construction commencement milestone being reached. AP Designer Homes reserves the right to determine construction commencement and contract status at its sole discretion.
AP Designer Homes may update or discontinue this Referral Programme at any time without prior notice. Any valid referral received before the programme changes will still be honoured under the terms at the time of submission.
